7.3.3.7 — Connection of Roof Drain to Leader

(1) Every roof drain shall be securely connected to a leader and provision shall be made for expansion.

Defined terms on this page

leader

means a pipe that is installed to carry storm water from a roof to a storm building drain, sewer or other place of disposal.

roof drain

means a fitting or device that is installed in the roof to permit storm sewage to discharge into a leader.
