9.5.3.2 — Mezzanines

(1) The ceiling height above and below a mezzanine floor assembly in all occupancies shall be not less than 2 100 mm.

means an intermediate floor assembly between the floor and ceiling of any room or storey and includes an interior balcony.

occupancy

means the use or intended use of a building or part of a building for the shelter or support of persons, animals or property.
