9.5.9.1 — Space to Accommodate Fixtures

(1) In every dwelling unit an enclosed space of sufficient size shall be provided to accommodate a water closet, lavatory and bathtub or shower stall.

means a suite operated as a housekeeping unit, used or intended to be used by one or more persons and usually containing cooking, eating, living, sleeping and sanitary facilities.

size

means the nominal diameter by which a pipe, fitting, trap or other similar item is commercially designated.
