9.8.5.2 — Ramp Width

(1) Except as provided in Sentence (2), ramps shall not be less than 1 100 mm wide.

(2) Ramps serving a house or an individual dwelling unit shall not be less than 860 mm wide.

Defined terms on this page

dwelling unit

means a suite operated as a housekeeping unit, used or intended to be used by one or more persons and usually containing cooking, eating, living, sleeping and sanitary facilities.

house

means a detached house, semi-detached house or row house containing not more than two dwelling units.
